A space where you don’t have to hold it all together
For the feelers, the deeply sensitive, and those who have always experienced the world a little differently.
A gentle, neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed space to explore burnout, unmask safely, and move towards a life that feels more authentic and sustainable.
Why Therapy?
You might have spent a long time trying to make things work.
Pushing through, adapting, holding it all together, often in ways that others don’t see.
From the outside, it might look like you’re coping.
But underneath, things can feel overwhelming, exhausting, or quietly painful in ways that are hard to put into words.
You may feel burnt out from years of masking or over-functioning.
Unsure of who you are beneath it all, or where your needs begin and end.
You might have felt unseen, misunderstood, or dismissed by the very systems that were meant to support you.
And over time, that can leave you questioning yourself.
Therapy can be a space to slow down.
A space to begin making sense of your experiences more clearly, without judgement or pressure, and without having to fit yourself into something that doesn’t feel right for you.
A space where you can gently reconnect with who you are beneath the expectations, the pressure, and the survival strategies.
Thinking about Therapy?
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve had difficult experiences in the past, struggled to find the right words, or have been carrying things on your own for a long time.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
We can take things one step at a time.
In our first session, we’ll explore what’s brought you here, what you’re hoping for, and begin to get a sense of whether this feels like the right fit. There’s space for questions, uncertainty, and going at your own pace.
I offer a calm, collaborative space where we can gently explore what you’re carrying.
My role is to listen deeply, hold space with care, and support you to understand your experiences in a way that feels right for you, without pressure to fit into a particular way of being.
Over time, therapy can support you to reconnect with who you are, honour your needs, and create a life that feels more aligned and sustainable.
You don’t have to do this alone, and you don’t have to rush.
How I can support you
Therapy Groups
A space to connect with others who share similar experiences, reducing isolation and building a sense of understanding and belonging.
Groups combine reflection, shared experience, and gentle psychoeducation in a safe and supportive environment.
1:1 Therapy
A gentle, collaborative space to explore your experiences, particularly if you are navigating burnout, masking, or questions around identity.
I work with both adults and adolescents, adapting therapy to suit your stage of life and individual needs, with a focus on safety, autonomy, and working in a way that feels right for you.
I also work closely with parents and carers where appropriate, to support young people in a way that feels safe and collaborative.
Training & Consultancy
Supporting organisations to better understand and support neurodivergent individuals.
My work focuses on creating inclusive, trauma-informed environments where people can thrive, both independently and in collaboration with trusted colleagues.
Hi, I’m Cloie
Welcome to a space where you don’t have to mask, shrink, or explain yourself just to feel understood.
I’m Dr Cloie Parfitt, a neurodivergent psychotherapist based in the UK. I support neurodivergent adults and young people, particularly those who have felt unseen or misunderstood, to better understand themselves and move towards a life that feels more authentic and sustainable.
Therapy is a deeply personal journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you. My approach is relational, collaborative, and flexible, creating a space where your experiences are taken seriously, and you can explore what healing and growth look like for you.
This is a space for your full self–the quiet parts, the chaotic parts, the tender and brilliant parts–without pressure to be anything other than who you are.
